How long can you remain in the organism mode? When you go to awakening phase do you have to go to strategy mode or can you stay at the individual level for a long time?

I assume there wouldn't really be a complete point at which you can simply "stop", but I imagine as you progress further there will be less and less you can do in organism mode seamlessly.

What kinds of apocalypse could happen in society or in industrial stage?,like global thermonuclear war, diseases etc.

Whilst we are showing off our current work, I would like to introduce Freebuild mode (now what happens when you access the microbe editor from the main menu.)Haven't had much time to work with it, but heres a screenshot of course the microbe you make in freebuild can only be loaded and saved and cannot be used in game without loading it.

@Crovea: How'll the slime gland fit into this? Will it prevent/lessen damage, or will it make the attacking microbe just bounce off?

@Untrustedlife: Would an infinity symbol in the bottom right work, or does it not fit with the font?

currently the font lacks a "∞" symbol. So no it doesnt work.

(I can't get on #gameplay right now as I'm on my kindle), it is in the current iteration of the gdd as a vacule that holds and secretes antiphagocytic slime to hinder or prevent engulfment (and this is a real life thing)

I hate comparing this game to Spore, but one thing I hated in Spore was the restriction to making creatures symmetrical. Will this be the case in Thrive as well? I realize that most creatures are symmetrical in reality, but that does not mean that players or the auto-evo should be limited in that manner. I also realize that symmetry is common for a reason, balance, but it would be interesting, and perfectly possible, to have asymmetric yet balanced creatures.

You will have the option to make bilateral, tetrahedral, or hexagonal symmetry, but you will not be forced to do it.

Also, in spore you could create asymmetrical creatures by pressing the A key while placing a part.

Nailed it. I'm assuming it goes down instead of/alongside hitpoints while being engulfed, buying time to escape (I'm guessing being engulfed slows you down)?

Quick question... I've been dieing to ask this question WILL We have species types? as in Say a group of species can be insectoid where instead of normal feats of reproduction we have A hive with a queen that creates a eggsack and this hive possesas swarm intellegnence rather than standard. (sorry for asking if it was already asked) Just wanted to know so I could make a xenomorph like creature.
