| I modeled a basic intro for when the game boots up http://www.mediafire.com/?5050w08vhxrauwd It's a planet passing by a yellow star with sounds of radio signals indicating sapient life is on the planet. If anyone has ideas for me to improve it, feel free to ask. If you'd like to improve it yourself, I will post a download link to the actual scene. If there are any typos in here I missed, sorry, my keyboard has a problem |

My suggestions: Increase the poly count in order to smooth out the spheres Make the sun smaller, so that the planet creates a ring like that of a solar eclipse- this is more accurate in size and will blend in better with the transition to the logo Use the HQ logo: here

| Just finished, unfortunately high poly gives blender a tummy ache and it's hard to tell the difference between this intro and the last even though it slowed down my pc for a good hour. Anyways, here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?aczl1vsghr7rpzq |

I have a suggestion: if you tried to do a video like that but adding a satellite to the planet?

| I probably could add a satellite, I'll give it a shot update: satelite interferes with the logo transition, sorry about that. |

I could try to draw something, but it probably will look very 2-D.

| Very good, it doesn't seem like a practical creature but it's very detailed. | |

| @ido: Thanks. I don't have Photoshop (my mom does, but she probably won't let me use her computer), but I have GIMP, SAI (specifically SAI4Mac), and Sketchbook Designer and Sketchbook Pro. However, I'm not always completely sure if I am good at tablet-less art. But when I use SAI, it usually turns out pretty good.
@Uteen: I'm not sure what you mean by 'practical', but thanks anyhow!

I meant it looks like it would have a high centre of mass, the short legs seem like they would not be able to accelerate/decelerate the mass of the organism rapidly enough for hunting/fleeing, and the arms are too short for most uses, which isn't advantageous for survival. Thus, I suspect its body would be impractical for survival, although you could still make something like it in-game if you wanted.

Ammm, Maybe if he does it a peaceful Vengetrian one, and try to avoid any threat, It may Bearly survive.

Nice Drawing, But, There will be no underwater villages, as underwater creature can't progress, as they can't melt iron... Well, It is nice, waiting for more.

Well, It is nice, waiting for more. That makes sense, well it's concept maybe you could use this a backdrop or just a sunken village.

| I decided for my next peice of art to draw a creature. It can both breath underwater and on land, for food purposes only, but it has no legs and instead moves like a snake allowing it to travel very fast, but has hands that allow it to build and do all the stuff that allows it to advance. It has a large shell that grows above it's small head that allows it to attack other creatures by charging at them and mainly functions as protection for it's inteligent brain. I've named it Balaenserpian which is a mix of several scientific names. | |

| Had to post this twice because I posted on wrong thread sorry.... I've drawn two different plants which both produce fruits. The first one looks alot like mushroom but when eaten it's like eating a Strawberry. 2nd plants fruit is alot like a grape / berry, and grows on the tongue like stem on the inside of the plant. The first plant is small in size and is very delecate which makes it a delicacy, it takes about 2-3 days to grow about 1meter and produces fruit within about 1week. The large sack at the top absorbs all the sun rays and water like a Solar panel, so it tends to be found in open grasslands. It's life span is about 2-3 years. The secound plant is simular to what a cactus would feel without prickles, it contains water and nutrients making it a good desert plant, it's tongue is sensitive and withdraws into it's mouth-like leaves for about 1min, after that your are able to harvest it's fruit for 5mins before it withdraws again. It's life span is about 200 years. | |
