| I'm with nick here. I'd like cursors to be simple and clean. Making complex shapes and then scaling them down to very small sizes rarely produces professional-grade results. | |

| Wow. A ship from KSP, a planet from SpaceEngine and GIMP. That's like my three favorite programs (in their respective categories). Good job M3rox.
I too agree that the simpler the cursor, the better.

They weren't scaled down, they're at the sizes I made them, of anything, I tried to scale them up so they weren't tiny... But, meh. .3. I guess I can make a clean-lined arrow with the same color scheme.

| Thanks for the positive feedback! I've made another picture, but IMO I failed a bit on the lights which are supposed to look like the lights you see on earth from space. Here it is: - Spoiler:

| Just a critter I made in Sculptris.
Le Critter
Don't have any pictures of it. Just a partly completed model in a Sculptris File. Haven't colored it either.
Also, I found a way to Convert Sculptris files to Blender. .3.

| I made a little creature. It is supposed to be some sort of creature from a coral reef, it is carnivorous, and starting to evolve to become amphibious. (If you look for them, you can find little back legs :P) - Spoiler:
I made it in Sculptris. By the way Aiosian_Doctor_Xenox, that is a nice creature! I am only starting out in Sculptris.

| Here's some busts I made in Sculptris which looked to me like something that the Tribal Stage in the game might produce. I only took the time to colour my favorite one Sculptris is a good medium to vent my evolutionary cravings until Thrive rises from the carnage that Spore left behind... Epic (: I made a quick DeviantArt account to post these since I was having trust issues with the image upload that the forum provides -___- http://shaftythecanadian.deviantart.com/gallery/44466065 | |

Just as a suggestion for you guys, I have little experience with art beyond a pencil and paper, but I think that scio's concepts with these cells looks really nice. Could you try and model the organelles and cells in-game based off of this art style? Detail, transparency, I don't really know the words to describe it, but I think it is the perfect match for this stage. Scio's earlier shot with the organelles as well shows a good example of what organelles should look like. Just my two cents. :)

The moon's name is Saraquadfor-IV. A earthlike gravity world covered in lush rainforest's. The sentinent species is named Arrragonia after the element Argon. Currently in caveman years These beings can be hostile at times but can learn to get along. If you want more info on these guys let me know and the skin is supposed to be gray.

I like the thrive symbols, too, although I don't know if I actually want to encounter that in space By the way, I haven't posted stuff lately because I am on vacation and using my phone. I don't have access to a computer.

I use Zbrush and photoshop That . . . looks . . . incredible. All of your models are brilliant, I have to say. :) I'd just like to know whether these and other models made in Sculptris can be implemented into the actual game. It's probably not possible, but I'd just like clarification.

The models are brilliant, but we can't use them- they're too high-poly. Sculptris uses a distended sphere mesh that adds polygons as you add detail, so the models come out quite large, and aren't optimal for game usage because of it. Beyond that, all of the models, if changed to a lower ploygon version, will come out quite badly, because they are all based off of right triangles and squares that have been distended. They aren't modeled in away that's good for us, but they sure do look pretty.

Actually, I know a way to import Sculptris into Blender. Haven't tested it yet, but I'll give it a shot, see if it might work.
