| Right here is a critter that The Uteen gave me to draw. Here's his description : - Spoiler:
"It's a non-sentient organism, sort of like a dog in brain development, and it has had implants added by a sentient race. It is basically controlled by these implants, and much of its hind body has a computer 'brain' added in. It is used as a galactic prison guard, the implants are cameras and sensors, to keep an eye on the prisoners. It is made in the early days of implants, the implants are basically stashed inside and stitched on to the skin and would probably be painful to the surrounding skin. The actual creature is still alive and can think for itself, but is made to follow the instructions given."

I shall scan it once I get back home.

| Yeah, only drew it with 4H and HB pencil. I'm to scared to ruin the picture if I start giving it darkness. | |

| Then make another variation
Dont be scared you always have the original drawing in digital form, plus eraser beats mistakes.
PS. I wish I had that many different pencils.... dont even have a pen left

PS. I wish I had that many different pencils.... dont even have a pen left Well pencils are quite cheap in england, I've got about five. The only original picture will be on the paper since I don't have any digital art logiciels like photoshop. Well I've got GIMP but I don't really know how to use it propely.

| Intuous 4 ey.... a very good one! M/L/ or S? My tablet broke a whiiile back, so this is probably the best upgrade I can have from an Intuous 3, right?
Nice gallery! Dimensions and perspective are always good; notes a nice "aesthetic" simplicity on some weapons systems.
Anyways, something to contribute to the thread, this is a drawing from quite some time ago, but I felt it would fit in with, maybe, some loading screen or a transition or a wallpaper. If someone can edit it with "thrive" logo it would be awesome.

| A little and fast re-work of the first "tribla" picture to get some ideas down on a world which is spilt appart by gravity and magnetism.
Not too awesome on the skill here, but this was extra fast.

| A magnetic core strong enough to have islands orbit it might actually be possible. Cool concept. | |

Not to say it's not awesome (because it is), but I think Gotrol has posted better here (I fell in love with the first one). - Brown Spotted Kiwi wrote:

Seen it, hate it. I'm just trying to get out an actual scientific (and gameplay) possibility out of this.

| "Good" artwork requires materials and time. For game concept art I think the appropriate material is the drawing tablet which I dont have (yet anyways), and time is always short for a good art piece.
So, I'll just keep on doing what I can with what I can find
"finished" pieces, althought its in a different direction than concept art.

| Wow, abstract art, that's awesome stuff. How long did you take to make one of them?
Ayway, I'm out of inspiration these days so I would like it if someone had any propositions on anything to draw (that has a link with the game).

| The first one I made two years ago when I was still in school. The other one I made this summer. They both took about a week... maybe because of the size.
Yeah, I need some directions too, dont feel like randomly brainfarting- need requests

| An ascension gate? Sounds cool, but what does it do? I am intrigued.
@Slathazer Spaceships... they are already somehow depicted in all imaginable and unimaginable form. Drawing hi-tech is always fun, but I think this game is not just limited to that and also the theme of space is generally exploited a lot. I will try to get something on paper though.

| Ascension gate is a machine that transforms physical species into energical form, making them be literally everywhere and giving them huge powers - basically making Gods of the species. It has no scientific basis, so there are no constraints about how it should look. | |

| An ascension gate it is.
In my mind "ascension" would require a massive amount of energy, so there are two ways I see this happening. One is that energy is concentrated inside a room and another is that its concentrated and then released. Or the mix of two.
Anyhow, some concepts:
