Here's an illustration I actually did quite a while before I knew about the Thrive project, but I thought it gave a good atmosphere to looking on the outside of space from inside a nebula.

I was sort of inactive lately , and i probably will continue to be inactive becouse of school but im gonna try to do my best, anyways heres a aquatic creature i made in like 45mins just to show my gratitude to the thrive project hope this game will be a huge win for the world!!

EDIT: I personally dont like how much green there is and its sort of monoton but all in all i say its not that bad.

i have an idea , if we could animate all of those models and make a short movie, right!? but i don't know how to animate so , if some one likes the idea and knows how to animate that be nice, i know thats kinda out of the theme here i mean becouse we need to finish the first stage and all but this could be just like a side misson u know, it thosn't have to be related to the game if you guys dont want to go to ahead,or disapoint the fans or something?

Yeah, I see your point. I was sort of expecting that I'd have to remove it, but considering that's fairly easy and the pun wasn't really that appropriate anyway, I'm fine making them again.

i think this arts could be put in loading screens or in an "extra" section, and so on... not mandatory for promotional purpose..

I have a deviantart account, I'm not the best artist but I can draw some some sketches if you want.

Also how will the color spectrum work out with the evolution of organism. Many animals use bright displays to attract mates, so the color scheme of the organism should reflect such things.

Don't forget camouflage either. Arguably one of the most common features in the animal kingdom.

Is camo going to be implemented into the gameplay, somehow?

Also, would animals that can change colour (like octopi, chameleons, etc.) be out of the question?

Oh!, we shouldn't forget about bio-luminescence, or creatures that have a see-through exoderm.

Exactly. One of the main drawbacks of Spore's creature-related editors is that you can't colour individual body parts or items of clothing/armour separately from the rest of the body.
This limitation clearly has to go, in my opinion, or at least be made optional.
