Delete the ogre.cfg file that is in the same folder as thrive.exe. That should allow you to edit your resolution and all of that. Actually, the releases should come without that file untill we set up an in-game options menu for graphic options.

Fantastic, Cheese. These microbes look awesome. Any luck on exporting them as .mesh files?

Yes, I've succesfully sucseeded to get a .mesh.xml exporter to work, it just needs that you then converts them from .xml to normal .mesh, wich luckily Daniferrito seems to know how to do.

Great! Hopefully Daniferrito can implement these models in the next release. Things are looking good right now, great progress all around. Keep it up!

Excellent job Thriving Cheese. Now, the job is to make different looking models for the same cells to add diversity. They shouldn't look totally different, they should still have the important features of that cell. However, they also shouldn't just be the same cell with different colouration.

No, just to add variety to the start up. Otherwise, you would always spawn with the same cells when the game starts.

Oh, I'd thought that you meant kinda similiar to darkspore, were there are this heroes "Zhrin" "Titan" "Goliat" etc, and then you can unlock different versions of them, wich looks a little bit different, but not completly different, and has some a little bit different abilities.

I think he ment that we could randomize (shuffle) in other words the cells that your planet starts with. We could still give them slightly different advanatges and disadvantages to make the game more interesting. Seems brilliant. Of course if you want to do it.
That always annoyed me about spore, the cells that you were up against were always the same, made the cell stage fun at first but boring after awhile. (over several games of course)

Exactly. I didn't have stat alteration as well in mind, but that could be done too.

Thanks. It gives much more depth to a movie with some great song/music/sound. Thought that sounded sounded deep and nice. ¨ BTW, what did you think about the shooting idea?

I don't think the shooting is very realistic or what they are meant to do. However, I'm not sure on that, you'll need better confirmation.

They're not meant to shoot, though it was an interesting idea. I'd like to see a greater focus on modeling organelles rather than these old protocell types.

Definetly, the animals and cells (most of them at least) will evolve with you while you play so each time you play you SHOULD get completely different animals (unless your planets are extremely alike, in which case it would be more of a different take on the same creature.
